If you know some German, have German heritage, just started learning German or just want to see what this is all about, please don’t hesitate to join us for one of our weekly, free Stammtisch meetings, where everyone gets a chance to practice their German language skills.
We love to exchange ideas, learn about new cultural products, practices, and perspectives and get to know you. People from all walks of life come together to make new friends and have a good time.

Wir haben immer tolle Diskussionen: Was vermisst Du an Deutschland? Was kanntest Du vorher noch nicht? Was weißt Du über die Wiedervereinigung? Was ist Dein liebster Feiertag und wie feierst Du ihn?…usw.

Come early or stay late and check out our German-Texan Heritage Society with its beautiful historic building and gardens. Until further notice we will only be meeting online.

BUSINESS STAMMTISCH
Usually every 2nd or 3rd Thursday of the month (with some exceptions) at a different brewery around Austin!!!

For our last Stammtisch in 2024 we will celebrate the season together with the South Austin Stammtisch and meet at GTHS' festively decorated gardens onTuesday, December 10th at 7pm.
507 E. 10th Street in downtown Austin.
BYOB just in case but we might have a couple of leftovers from the Christmas market on Saturday December 7th.
