the 7th Annual Koblenz Karneval in Austin

For 7 years now, GTHS is proud to support the Austin-Koblenz Sister Cities Committee as they celebrate once again Koblenz Karneval, the German tradition the weekend before Ash Wednesday. All ages are welcome on Sunday, March 2 from 1-3pm. Come join us, rain or shine, at the covered outdoor beer garden of Austin Beerworks - Sprinkle Valley at 10300 Springdale Road in Austin for live performances, authentic German Karneval music, craft brews, food trucks, a costume contest, sing-along and repeat-after-me songs, Polonaise, and so much more! Parking and the event are FREE but RSVPs are welcome.

Donations will be greatly appreciated and will benefit the volunteer-run Austin-Koblenz Sister Cities Committee to support student exchanges and citizen diplomacy. Get ready for a närrische time and join us as we celebrate the friendship between Austin and our sister city in Germany with a high-energy, fun-filled afternoon of music, dancing, and German Karneval traditions.
