Jon Todd “JT” Koenig

Jon Todd (JT) Koenig serves as a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer of Bank of America Private Bank in Austin, Texas.

JT manages client trust relationships across the Central, West and South Texas regions, including the Austin, San Antonio and Fort Worth markets, as well as the community markets in those same regions; working with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Advisors and Private Wealth Advisors. 

 

JT rejoined Bank of America in 2021 and has worked with financial advisors and clients on a variety of account relationships including revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, generation-skipping trusts, charitable remainder and charitable lead trusts, private foundations, life insurance trusts, trusteed individual retirement accounts

and investment management agency accounts. Previously, JT was a Senior Fiduciary Manager with another corporate fiduciary in Austin since 2012, and before that he was a Market Trust Director in Seattle, Washington with Merrill Lynch Trust Company, now part of Bank of America Private Bank.  Prior to his work with corporate fiduciaries, JT was an attorney in Houston and San Antonio.

JT is a graduate of the University of Houston – University Park where he earned his BA in psychology.  He also holds a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, and an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Houston Law Center.  JT is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas, as well as the Texas Banker’s Association where he serves on the Trust & Estate Taskforce.
