Dr. Barbara Berthold

After moving to Texas in the spring of 2006, Barbara Berthold has embraced volunteerism and served her community in various leadership roles. Barbara is interested in pedagogy of foreign language teaching, teacher education and preparation, Texas German history and international relations.

Barbara is a Lecturer of German at The University of Texas at Arlington. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Education from the University of Bremen, as well as, a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Dallas Center for Nonprofit Management.

Helping people and organizations grow is her passion and she has been described as a bridge builder between cultures.
