Fundraising – 150th Anniversary Club
In the fall of 2007 we celebrated the 150th anniversary of the construction of the German Free School and established the 150th Anniversary Club fund in order to raise money for specific programs and endowments. Our goal is to raise $150,000 by the end of this three year fund drive. There are several gifting levels to choose from, and donors are welcome to either make one lump sum payment, or pledge to make payments for three years.

Goal: $150,000
Development of outreach programs beyond the Austin area – $50,000
Genealogy seminars, German language classes sponsored/conducted by GTHS, Annual Scholarships to three deserving students
Seed an operating endowment for the German-Texan Heritage Society – $50,000
Renovations/upgrades to the German Free School building and grounds – $50,000
Levels of Giving
Platinum Sponsor: $5,000/year for 3 years, total $15,000*
Gold Sponsor: $1,500/year for 3 years, total $4,500*
Silver Sponsor: $500/year for 3 years, total $1,500*
Bronze Sponsor: $150/year for 3 years, total $450
Pewter Sponsor: $50/year for 3 years, total $150
* At these funding levels, your name will be included on a plaque to be hung at the German Free School.
All donors will be Charter members of the 150th Anniversary Club and receive a mention in The Journal.
