Dr. Jens Zimmermann, MdB (SPD)
Dr. Jens Zimmermann is a member of the German Parliament and currently serves as a Chairman of the SPD – Digital Agenda Committee, and head of the Wirecard Investigative Committee. He is also a member of the Finance Committee, where his main policy areas focus on anti-money-laundering and terrorist financing, regulation of payment services and Fin-Techs. He is active in the Building, Agricultural and Environmental Workers’ Union, and the German Association of Political and Business Economists. From 2007 to 2011, he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Service Management at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and subsequently worked as a freelance lecturer and consultant.
Dorothee Martin, MdB (SPD)
Dorothee Martin is a member of the German Parliament and serves on the Committee for Transport and Digital Infrastructure. She studied political science and constitutional law at the University of Hamburg. She serves for nine years as a representative in the Hamburg state house before entering the Bundestag in May 2020. Her main policy areas focus on transport, tourism, and the economy. Her political goal is to make the north of Hamburg a home worth living in. She further advocates for daycare centers, schools, and jobs, concentrating on affordable housing, good transportation infrastructure, healthcare, leisure, and recreational opportunities.
Marja-Liisa Völlers, MdB (SPD)
Marja-Liisa Völlers is a member of the German Parliament and serves as the Vice-Chair of the Education, Research, and Technology Assessment committee. She is also a member of the Health and Defense Committee and a deputy chair of the Enquete Commission “Vocational Training in the Digital World”. Other memberships include the Working Group on Local Politics of the SPD Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag. Finally, she is a trained German teacher and a Deputy Chairwoman of the Workers’ Welfare Association (AWO).
